Inspired by the writings of Ursula K. Le Guin and Hannah Sullivan, Three Poems was a semi-autobiographical triptych performance by Amy Gillies. The piece follows a young woman as she reflects on three pivotal points in her life. Exploring themes of identity, home, and nature. Gillies contemplates the relationship between place and memory. She conjures scenes that capture both intimacy and loneliness, whilst exploring the various definitions of home. The poem was laced with reworked anecdotes from previous writers who have attempted to interrogate their own identity through poetry.

︎ Amy Gillies is a visual and performance artist who lives and works in London. Employing painting and poetry as a vehicle for social and political dialogue, her practice is concerned with the memory of the past and the politics of the present.
In 2019, Amy completed an MFA in Fine Art from Kingston School of Art, where she had studied a BA Hons in Fine Art and Art History previously.
