Post-Epoch explored how public parks have become an escapism paradigm for the pandemic. A non-place, a nameless and faceless multitude whereby anyone can feel ‘at home’ because, as a transitional environment, they are equally alienating to everyone. Using image stills captured via Google Earth of Richmond Park, Chloë has created a displacement of perspective, presenting a new virtual normality with a disembodied and remote-control gaze. In an attempt to show viewers the powerful reciprocal nature of vision, she presents a digitally mirrored, real-time spectacle.
